About Our Mission
The goal of The Playhouse is to create a space where mental health and well-being take priority. This space holds specialized trainings for professionals who prioritize mental health, offer rental space for therapy and non-therapy groups and be accessible to the public for classes to support learning and growing.
What Makes Us Different?
We utilize our compassion and integrity to show support to the community (clinicians, professionals, parents/guardians) by providing low cost trainings, CEU's, low cost play therapy services, support groups and group space rentals. Our goal is to provide services that meet the unique needs of our community.
About the Owner

Danielle White MA, LPC, NCC, RPT-S, Program Coordinator
Danielle is a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist supervisor. Danielle has been practicing play therapy skills and interventions with children and their families since 2011. Her niche is early childhood play therapy ages 18 months to 5 years and trauma based play therapy. She is also has a background in graduate level education and program coordination. Marie is a licensed professional counselor, nationally certified counselor, and registered play therapist. Marie has been working with children since 2010 and providing therapy services since 2013. Marie started as a school counselor and now provides play therapy across the lifespan (for any age). Marie is currently the Missouri Association for Play Therapy President-Elect. Joining us SOON!
